We, at Centerpoint, believe strongly in the power of prayer as it is our greatest Christian privilege. Please let us know how we can pray for you or others by submitting the Prayer Request Form.
Please keep the following in your prayers:
Michael Turner—Michael Turner (Alice Turner’s husband, Alice does the church cleaning) has had cancer for over 3 years. Michael Turner has been taken to the hospital in Albuquerque and is in ICU. He has a mass which has caused an obstruction on his small bowel; which has been putting toxins in his body. They are going to have to perform emergency surgery. Please pray for Michael, his wife Alice and daughters Alisha and Larissa. Pray for doctors as they do surgery on Michael.
Breanne—Please pray for Bob Crowley’s granddaughter, Breanne who is 13 years old and lost her mother 2 months ago. Breanne is doing a little better. She is starting to open up to her counselor and she is starting to talk positive at times. Please continue to pray for her deliverance from depression, and thoughts of suicide. Also pray for Rob, Breanne’s dad ) to have wisdom, and for Mary (Breanne’s grandmother) who is struggling with the death of her daughter.
Joe Lee—Joe was diagnosed with having a Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor, a soft tissue sarcoma. Joe has recovered from his bout with anemia this past summer and his blood count is holding in the low normal range after receiving the five units of blood. Praise God for blood donors! Joe's last PET scan, taken in early September, showed the G.I.S.T. tumor (on his liver) was slightly smaller and we are accepting those results as good news. As with most of us, Joe has his good days (when he can still go to his horse trading partner's arena and ride) and some not so good days (when he is very fatigued and naps throughout the day), but all things considered (he has no pain to speak of) he feels relatively good and can do most everything he chooses to, and he is grateful for all his days. Please continue to pray for Joe to feel so well.
Katharine Frisbee’s sister, Barbara Baldwin, who lives in New York, has bone, colon, lung and liver cancer (stage 4). It has been about a year since her cancer diagnosis. Barbara will soon be going in to Hospice. Please lift up her family during this very difficult time. Please pray for peace & understanding for Barbara, her husband, two (twins) boys and her daughter. Please pray for Katharine as she deals with Barbara's going home & also for peace & understanding.
