food banks


The need for food in our community is great.  Centerpoint Church accepts donations on behalf on the local food banks in the form of non-perishable goods, paper products, and cash contributions.  Below is a suggested list of items that will help replenish the food pantries:

  • Canned meat or fish
  • Canned vegetables
  • Canned fruit
  • Canned soup or dried soup mixes
  • Dried pasta, rice or beans
  • Sauces or meal mixes for pasta and/or rice
  • (i.e., Hamburger Helper, gravy mix, Sizzle*Stir)
  • Boxes of Instant Pudding and Jello-O
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Jars of peanut butter (16 oz)
  • Boxes of Saltine crackers
  • Baking mix (i.e., Bisquick)
  • Small boxes of powdered milk (9.6 oz)
  • Cereal– hot or cold
  • Bags of Sugar (2 lb)
  • Small bottles of dish soap (12 oz)
  • Paper towels
  • Toilet paper
